Reviewing The Financial Status of the New Urban Communities Authority with Minister of Housing

On Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly met with Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and Mohamed Ragai, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Financial, Administrative, and Human Resources Affairs. The meeting aimed to review and assess the New Urban Communities Authority’s financial situation.

Prime Minister Reviews Financial Status of the New Urban Communities Authority with Minister of Housing

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to achieve a financial balance between revenues and expenditures. He also highlighted the necessity of managing and evaluating the assets owned by NUCA and new city authorities, stressing the need for a comprehensive vision that contributes to achieving the desired goals and maximizing the benefits of these assets.

According to Mohamed El-Homsany, the official spokesperson for the Cabinet, the meeting included discussions on the financial position of NUCA, covering actual expenditures and revenues from July 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025. It also addressed projected expenses and revenues until the end of the current fiscal year.

El-Homsany added that the discussions included comparing actual expenditures and revenues during the mentioned period with those from the previous year. Additionally, the meeting reviewed spending on implemented projects nationwide and analyzed key financial inflows expected in the upcoming period.
