Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting at the government headquarters in New Alamein City to follow up on the final stages of implementing the Fustat Hills Gardens project and the preparations for its operation. The meeting was attended by Minister of Housing Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber, and a number of concerned officials.
Dr. Madbouly stressed the significance of the project as a distinctive environmental, tourist, and cultural park in the heart of Cairo. The development features heritage and recreational components with views of prominent historical sites, making it an exceptional tourist attraction. He directed that all works be completed promptly and that services be opened to the public as soon as possible.
The Minister of Housing presented an update on the progress of different areas within the project, including cultural and investment zones, markets, adventure areas, hills, the river, heritage gardens, and the square of Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque. He highlighted the high completion rates achieved so far. Meanwhile, Major General Mahmoud Nassar, Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, detailed the implementation of utilities and site landscaping, which covers green spaces, artificial lakes, and service buildings.
