He stressed that all new projects must include hotel components to boost the availability of tourist accommodations. He also highlighted the importance of connecting projects with a beachfront promenade, ensuring seamless integration among developments.

The Prime Minister pointed out that with the upcoming Ras El-Hekma mega-city, the entire region will witness transformational growth. He emphasized that commercial areas within projects must be carefully planned and harmonized with the overall urban vision.
Meanwhile, Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny outlined the government’s land use plans, particularly west of Ras El-Hekma to east of Simla and Alam El-Roum, detailing current development efforts and future expansion strategies.
Investor Feedback & Collaboration
Tourism investors welcomed the Prime Minister’s guidelines, pledging their commitment to align their projects with the national strategy. They also highlighted challenges in the region, such as the need for more services, including healthcare facilities, administrative centers, police stations, an airport, and a yacht marina.
The investors further proposed launching a global marketing campaign for the North Coast and expressed their willingness to co-fund the initiative.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Madbouly instructed the Minister of Housing to commission an urban planning consultancy to develop a comprehensive master plan covering at least 10 kilometers inland, ensuring a cohesive, world-class development that meets international tourism and investment standards.
