Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting today to review the progress of current projects being implemented by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities. The meeting was attended by Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Dr. Walid Abbas, First Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority, along with Deputy Chairmen Eng. Amin Ghoneim and Eng. Ahmed Moussa.
During the meeting, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities presented the most important topics and projects currently underway. He began by highlighting preparations for the opening of registration for the first offering under the second phase of the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, dedicated to Egyptians abroad. The initiative is being launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs, and includes the provision of 1,380 housing units. Registration will open on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and run until September 4, 2025, with the unit selection period scheduled from September 20 to September 25, 2025.

In this context, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny noted that the second phase of the initiative will include nearly 3,000 residential, commercial, and administrative units distributed across three separate offerings. The first offering will include middle- and high-end housing units within various projects such as “Diarna,” as well as in cities like New Cairo, New Alamein, New Minya, New Assiut, New Sohag, New Damietta, 15th of May City, and New Qena. It will also include projects such as “Sakan Misr,” “Dar Misr,” “Jenna,” and “Valley Towers” in other locations such as New Mansoura, Hadayek October, and New Obour.
The Minister further explained that the initiative provides flexible payment options with discounts of up to 7% on unit prices and repayment periods of up to ten years. This model was developed in response to requests from Egyptians abroad, based on discussions held by the Minister of Housing during the sixth edition of the “Egyptians Abroad” Conference. These efforts are in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide the highest level of care for Egyptians living abroad, strengthen their connection with their homeland, and encourage their participation in supporting national development efforts.
