The activities of the International Defense Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025” witnessed, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the screening of a documentary summarizing the journey of this distinguished exhibition.
EDEX Egypt 2025 is considered a prominent international event specialized in defense and security industries, held biennially in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. Its first edition was launched in December 2018, in line with the ambitious vision of the political leadership to enhance Egypt’s position on the global map of specialized arms exhibitions.
This year’s edition is organized under the supervision of the Egyptian Armament Authority and with full support from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Military Production, and the Arab Organization for Industrialization. The event enjoys the gracious sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in his capacity as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, reinforcing its role as a platform with significant political and military weight.
The exhibition aims to highlight the latest innovations and technical solutions in land, naval, and air defense. It is designed to attract a specialized audience including military leaders, government officials, official international organizations, as well as industry experts and specialists from around the world.
The fourth edition of EDEX is scheduled to be held from Monday, December 1, to Thursday, December 4, 2025. As in previous editions, the exhibition will take place at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in New Cairo, serving as a global window for Egypt in the field of defense industries.
