On Sunday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Mr. Makhtar Diop, the Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in the presence of Ethiopis Tafara, Vice President of the Corporation, and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation.
Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy stated that the President praised the role played by the International Finance Corporation in strengthening cooperation with Egypt over the past years. He emphasized Egypt’s commitment to continuing this collaboration, especially in light of the current regional circumstances that pose significant challenges to development programs.
For his part, the Managing Director of the Corporation affirmed the IFC’s keenness to deepen its fruitful partnership with Egypt.
