President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.
The President’s official spokesperson stated that during the meeting, the President was briefed on the progress of projects under the Ministry of Housing, including those designated for Egyptians abroad. These efforts are part of strengthening ties between expatriate Egyptians and their homeland. The meeting reviewed the implementation steps taken within the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative and the “Beit Al Watan” initiative, which aim to provide housing units and land plots for Egyptians abroad in prime locations across various governorates and new cities.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shinawy, the official spokesperson, noted that the President directed an acceleration of construction work for the “Your Home in Egypt” and “Beit Al Watan” initiatives. He emphasized the importance of enhancing efforts to provide adequate housing for all Egyptian citizens. Additionally, he stressed the need to launch a collective offering of approximately 400,000 housing units catering to low- and middle-income groups and upper-middle and luxury housing.
The implementation status of developmental projects in the Northwestern Coast region was also reviewed during the meeting. The President highlighted the importance of coordination with executing companies to expedite project completion while ensuring high quality, contributing to asset development, and supporting the tourism sector. Furthermore, he instructed intensified efforts to maximize the benefits of the advanced infrastructure established by the state, emphasizing the need for regular monitoring of ongoing projects and procedures for the upcoming housing unit offerings.
