Dr. Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, announced that the handover of residential units for the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” program will begin next week for applicants across 34 different locations without applying the priority system. This decision is made because the number of available housing units exceeds the number of applicants.
She explained that the areas exempt from the priority system include: Abou Tesht Bilad Al-Mal Bahri, Abou Tesht Bilad Al-Mal Qebly, Edfu, Armant Abu Qela’i, Armant Al-Rayaniya, Esna Al-Shaghab, Al-Badari, Al-Hamam, and Al-Toud.
Additionally, the designated areas also include: Al-Qurna Al-Debaa, Al-Kawthar Industrial Zone, Al-Minya Al-Matahara, Al-Waqf, Al-Waqf Hajar Al-Jabal, Bani Mazar Abtouga, Bani Mazar Abu Girg, Juzur Al-Qattouri – Al-Ayyat, Juhayna Nagaa Al-Huweij, Juhayna Nagaa Hameed, Damascus, Sahel Selim Al-Matmar, Shadmouh, Tahta Sheikh Rahouma, Qous Al-Aqeb, Qous Al-Aliqaat, Kom Ombo, Sadat City (Badil Al-Dair), Sadat City (Al-Khattaba), Sadat City (Al-Sawame’), Sadat City (Al-Akhmas), Manfalut Al-Hama, Manfalut Al-Atamneh, and New Akhmim.
She further noted that an on-site inquiry will be conducted for citizens who have applied for residential units in the mentioned cities. Starting next week, the priority system will not be used, and the entirely constructed units will be handed over as soon as the credit evaluation procedures are completed.
