Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly departed from Cairo International Airport en route to Japan to participate in the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), representing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic. The event, now in its ninth edition, will be hosted by the Japanese city of Yokohama from August 20 to 22.
Dr. Madbouly is expected to attend the opening session of the summit, which will be marked by the participation of the Japanese Prime Minister, along with African heads of state and government, as well as officials from international and regional organizations.
On the sidelines of the “TICAD 9” Summit, the Prime Minister’s agenda will include several high-level meetings. He is also scheduled to hold discussions with officials from Japanese and African organizations, in addition to meetings with the heads of major Japanese companies to explore areas of cooperation of mutual interest.

The visit will also feature Dr. Mostafa Madbouly’s participation in the Egyptian-Japanese Business Council Forum, which will bring together senior representatives of Egyptian and Japanese companies. The forum’s main objective is to explore ways to strengthen collaboration between these institutions in both the Egyptian and Japanese markets, contributing to shared interests for both sides.
