Eng. Asmaa Makhlouf, Head of the New Suez City Development Authority, received a group of investors from the industrial zone in the city to discuss avenues of cooperation at the authority’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by a representative from the Industrial Development Authority and several senior officials from the New Suez City Authority. This comes in implementation of the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, which aim to strengthen the principle of partnership between government entities and investors to support the investment environment in new cities.
Eng. Asmaa Makhlouf opened the meeting with a summary of the most prominent achievements made in infrastructure to support the industrial sector. Among these achievements were: improving the efficiency of water transmission lines to ensure uninterrupted service to factories and facilities, upgrading internal roads in the industrial zone, and planting more than 3,500 trees as part of a comprehensive beautification and environmental improvement plan. In addition, operation and maintenance works for lighting and sanitation networks have been launched to provide a suitable and attractive working environment for investment.
She also presented the residential projects that have recently been offered, including the first phase of the free housing units, with the application period extended until June 15, 2025. These units offer high standards of comfort and luxury.
