Engineer Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Authority, conducted an inspection tour of the “Dar Misr El-Qronfol” and “Northern Youth Housing” projects to monitor progress. During the tour, the conditions of housing units, infrastructure, and residents’ maintenance and improvement needs were assessed. El-Ghaity emphasized the importance of field visits to enhance services and respond to residents’ complaints, stressing the need for direct communication with citizens and the allocation of technical teams to address any obstacles.
Engineer Ahmed Rashad, Head of the Obour City Development Authority, also carried out a field tour to follow up on maintenance, cleanliness, and landscaping works across the city. His visit included inspecting activities at the Fifth District Square, where he instructed the team to expedite beautification efforts.
He also visited the main water station in the industrial zones (B & G) to ensure the progress of expansion and efficiency improvement works, highlighting the importance of adhering to operational standards. Rashad pointed out that the Obour water station is one of the largest purification plants in Egypt and supplies several neighboring cities.
Engineer Ashraf Fathy Mahmoud, Head of the New Damietta City Authority, made an inspection tour across the First and Second Districts, the beach area, and the Eastern Terminal to monitor drivers’ compliance with designated parking areas. He emphasized the importance of cleanliness, removing encroachments and street vendors, and taking firm measures against informal practices. Mahmoud also stressed the need to intensify landscaping activities, remove waste, protect green areas from violations, and take legal action against offenders to preserve the city’s civilized appearance.
