The New Tiba City Development Authority, affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) under the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the offering of ten land plots designated for handicraft workshops within the industrial zone for sale through a public auction. This offering comes as part of the state’s efforts to support industrial and service activities within the city and to enhance its economic development.
The Authority explained that each plot has an area of 300 square meters and has been planned to meet the needs of investors and those seeking to establish light industrial and handicraft projects, contributing to the stimulation of the local economy. It also indicated that the terms and conditions booklet is available for interested applicants at the Authority’s headquarters for a fee of 299 EGP per plot.
The auction will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Authority’s headquarters. To qualify for entry into the auction, a security deposit of 100,000 EGP per plot must be paid no later than the session date.
The Authority further clarified that once the auction is awarded, the successful bidder must complete the payment of 25% of the total land value, in addition to 1% administrative fees and 0.5% for the Board of Trustees, all on the same day of the auction. The remaining value of the land will be paid through facilitated installment systems aimed at simplifying procedures and offering flexibility for investors.
On-site inspection is available for interested individuals during official working hours to ensure full awareness of the site details and technical specifications of the offered plots. The Authority affirmed that the offering process complies with Law No. 182 of 2018 regulating government procurement, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity.
