The New Assiut City Development Authority is preparing to offer nine commercial shops for sale through a public auction, with areas ranging between 23 and 39 square meters. This initiative comes as part of the New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) ongoing efforts to promote commercial and service activities within Egypt’s new cities, while also creating diverse investment opportunities for citizens and investors across different neighborhoods of the city.
According to the Authority, the auction session is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the headquarters of the New Assiut City Authority. Participation is subject to specific conditions outlined in the terms booklet, which is available at the Authority’s headquarters for a fee of 299 EGP, excluding value-added tax (VAT).

The Authority also announced that the successful bidder must pay 25% of the shop’s total value immediately upon award, in addition to 0.5% administrative fees and 1% in favor of the Board of Trustees. The remaining balance is to be settled within a specific timeframe, as detailed in the terms booklet.
This offering aims to enhance commercial services that meet the needs of New Assiut City residents while ensuring complete transparency throughout the public auction process, which is open to all interested participants.
