Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf, Head of the New Suez City Authority, emphasized the need to intensify efforts in housing, infrastructure, and service projects. She highlighted significant progress in project implementation, particularly under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” Makhlouf conducted a field tour to monitor work progress in the city, stressing that projects are being carried out according to the highest quality standards. During her visit, she inspected the service area, which includes a commercial market, a school, and a nursery. She also followed up on constructing a 10,000 cubic meter water tank and extending natural gas networks to ensure access to modern energy sources.
To monitor the implementation of residential projects, Engineer Asmaa Makhlouf conducted an inspection tour of 86 residential buildings, providing 2,064 housing units, each measuring 90 square meters. She emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest finishing standards and completing final touches to ensure an urban aesthetic aligned with the city’s modern vision.
Additionally, the Head of the Authority followed up on the progress of the urgent wastewater treatment plant, the “Compact” station, with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters per day, which is nearing completion. She also reviewed the progress of road lighting networks in the electricity sector and the implementation of main roads and internal streets to ensure efficient traffic flow within the city.
