New Obour City Authority Begins Regularizing 93 New Land Plots in the City’s Expansion

The New Obour City Development Authority has announced the start of receiving a new list of landowners from the Al-Amal Association whose land regularization has been approved in the city. Owners must visit the authority and submit the required original documents to complete the procedures and settle their dues. Each case will be handled individually, requiring the owners to sign the necessary declarations.

The list includes 93 land plots divided into five groups:

  • The first group, comprising 20 plots from “Abou El-Wafa Ismail & Partners – Formerly Kilometer 48 Area,” will begin submitting documents to the authority on February 23.
  • The second group, consisting of 20 plots, will start on February 24.
  • The third group with 20 plots will begin on February 25.
  • The fourth group, with 20 plots, will start on February 26.
  • The fifth group, containing 13 plots, will begin on March 3.

Required Documents for Land Regularization in New Obour Expansion

The authority has announced the necessary documents for completing the procedures, which include:

  • The original preliminary sales contract was submitted with the application.
  • Ownership chain documents.
  • A copy of the national ID along with the original for verification.
  • The post office’s original receipt of the application submission must be provided. If the original is lost, a certificate from the post office confirming the submission within the specified timeframe must be provided.
  • A certified bank cheque or a cashier’s cheque payable to the New Obour City Authority covers the down payment required according to the designated land size categories.

The land size categories and required payments are as follows:

  • For land up to 300 square meters, a cheque of EGP 60,000 is needed.
  • For land between 300 and 500 square meters, a cheque of EGP 100,000 is required.
  • For land exceeding 500 square meters, a cheque of EGP 150,000 is needed.

The authority emphasized that all mentioned amounts represent an initial payment subject to a final financial settlement based on the allocated area. It also clarified that transactions will be handled through the Technological Service Center for Land Regularization at the authority’s headquarters. Additionally, Thursdays have been designated for individuals who missed their submission deadlines within the same week.
