Various projects are underway in new cities across different governorates, encompassing housing, road development, infrastructure improvements, and landscaping. These initiatives aim to serve citizens and are closely monitored by the Minister of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). The projects seek to provide housing units for low—and middle-income individuals under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, create job opportunities, and meet citizens’ needs to enhance their quality of life, per President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives.
Engineer Ali Saad, Head of the 15th of May City Development Authority, stated that the “Housing for All Egyptians” project includes 465 residential buildings comprising 11,160 housing units. He highlighted the ongoing completion of asphalt road layers, environmental enhancements through landscaping, and site coordination. He affirmed his commitment to the project’s timeline to ensure housing units’ timely completion and delivery. Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmed Ismail Jabr, Head of the New Obour City Authority, pointed to significant progress in the 2,600-acre area and districts 14 and 15, emphasizing his dedication to conducting field visits to ensure adherence to the scheduled delivery timelines.
The Head of the New Obour City Authority announced the “Nozha Buildings” project, which comprises 66 buildings and 1,584 housing units. He inspected road construction and parking areas, reiterating the commitment to delivery deadlines and quality standards. Additionally, he visited housing units in District 14 to review progress and ensure that companies comply with technical specifications. Furthermore, he examined work in District 15, which includes 705 buildings and 16,920 units, closely monitoring the implementation of public utilities to guarantee that the project will soon accommodate residents.
In Sadat City, Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim Hassan, Head of the City Development Authority, reported significant progress in roadworks and landscaping within the “Housing for All Egyptians” residential buildings in the Al-Firdous neighborhood, facilitating the swift delivery of units. Similarly, Engineer Yasser Abdullah, Head of the New Assiut City Authority, oversaw the construction progress of nine residential buildings under the same initiative, emphasizing the importance of intensifying efforts to complete the project according to the established timeline and technical standards.
