Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the commencement of a new batch delivery of residential units under the “Sakan Misr” project in the Exhibition Land – Second Zone of New Cairo City. The delivery will begin on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, and continue until Tuesday, August 26, 2025, according to the schedule prepared by the New Cairo City Authority.
The Minister emphasized the importance of facilitating the unit handover procedures for beneficiaries and addressing any observations or challenges they may encounter. He also stressed the need for proper organization during the handover process to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Engineer Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Development Authority, explained that this phase involves a new batch of units within the “Sakan Misr” project located in the Exhibition Land area – Phase One and subsequent phases. The delivery schedule for the units is as follows:
The process will begin with Building No. 43 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, followed by Building No. 61 on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Delivery will continue with Building No. 63 on Sunday, August 10, 2025; Building No. 57 on Tuesday, August 12, 2025; and Building No. 56 on Thursday, August 14, 2025. It will then proceed to Building No. 55 on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Units in Buildings No. 84 and 85 will be handed over on Tuesday and Thursday, August 19 and 21, 2025, respectively.
Regarding the final days of the delivery schedule, the Authority Head confirmed that units in Building No. 86 will be delivered on Sunday, August 24, 2025; Building No. 87 on Monday, August 25, 2025; and Building No. 88 on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Engineer El-Ghaity added that successful applicants are required to visit the Housing and Development Bank branch in Nasr City (2 Abbas El-Akkad Street) to complete their banking contract procedures. Afterwards, they must proceed to the New Cairo City Authority office, located behind the South 90th Water Station, carrying the original bank letter and a copy of the signed checks to finalize data registration in the system and receive the signed inspection letter for unit viewing and collection.
