The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, through the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), has announced its response to requests from individuals and companies by introducing new financial payment facilitations. These facilitations apply to all owners of residential, administrative, and professional units, as well as commercial stores and land plots of various activities and sizes (residential, commercial, service, investment, and industrial). Additionally, they cover villas and coastal units owned by the authority.
NUCA approves a 70% exemption from late payment penalties on outstanding installments, provided the full overdue amount is paid. This initiative will be available only one month from the announcement date, allowing customers to rectify their financial status and benefit from this exemption.
The exemption applies to all valid allocations that have not been canceled and cases where a cancellation decision was issued due to non-payment, as long as the relevant authority has not officially repossessed the property. However, this exemption does not cover land allocated under partnership agreements or land permanently withdrawn from customers.
The authority has stipulated that beneficiaries must pay the entire outstanding amount within the specified period without delay. Additionally, they must waive any lawsuits against the authority or its affiliated bodies in new cities. Down payments must be completed according to NUCA’s approved financial regulations for those who wish to pay in installments.
The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities urges all eligible citizens and companies to promptly visit the relevant authorities in new cities to complete their payment procedures and take advantage of the exemption before the deadline expires.
