The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities is preparing to open applications for the 2025 Social Housing Apartments program for low- and middle-income citizens. The initiative falls under the umbrella of the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, offering down payments starting at EGP 50,000 with repayment terms extending up to 20 years.
Eligibility Conditions for Reserving Social Housing Apartments

The applicant must be an Egyptian citizen and at least 21 years old.

Only one unit may be reserved per family (husband, wife, and minor children).

The applicant or their family must not have previously obtained a residential unit in any social housing project.

The applicant or their family must not have received financing or support from previous housing projects or public authorities.
Financing System for New Units
The Ministry has announced the availability of new residential units through a mortgage finance system with reduced interest rates:

Low-Income Citizens: Annual interest rate of 8% with a minimum down payment of EGP 50,000.

Middle-Income Citizens: Annual interest rate of 12%, with repayment periods up to 20 years and a minimum down payment of EGP 100,000.

How to Access the Brochure for “Housing for All Egyptians 7”
Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, announced that the brochure for the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” announcement for middle-income applicants will be available starting July 8, 2025, until August 7, 2025.
