The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, led by Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, has announced the launch of 1,645 new housing units across eight cities in Egypt. The new units will be available for immediate reservation, providing housing options for various social segments as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to meet the country’s housing needs.
Reservation Details and Unit Sizes
The housing units, with sizes ranging up to 161 square meters, will be available for reservation between September 29 and October 28, 2024. The units are offered with flexible payment plans through the designated city authorities. Interested buyers can review the specifications and terms of purchase by obtaining the brochures available from the city offices starting September 29, 2024.
Cities and Unit Availability
The Ministry of Housing, through the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), has ensured the availability of a wide range of units in terms of size and location. The cities involved in this housing offer include:
- 255 units in 10th of Ramadan City, with sizes ranging from 63 to 105 square meters.
- 137 units in 6th of October City, ranging from 55 to 90 square meters.
- 878 units in New Mansoura City as part of the “Jenna” project, with sizes between 100 and 150 square meters.
- 5 units in Obour City, ranging from 75 to 104 square meters.
- 8 units in New Salhiya City, with sizes between 65 and 161 square meters.
- 240 units in New Mallawi City, also part of the “Jenna” project, with sizes ranging from 100 to 161 square meters.
- 8 units in New Borg El Arab City, ranging from 79 to 140 square meters.
- 114 units in New Rashid City, with sizes between 90 and 93 square meters.
Allocation Process
The units will be allocated through a public lottery system to ensure fairness and transparency. The lottery will be conducted after the reservation period ends, giving all applicants an equal chance to secure a unit.
