Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, received Minister of Manpower Mohamed Gebran at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to discuss strengthening joint cooperation between the two ministries across several important areas.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for coordination and integration between the Ministries of Housing and Manpower on critical issues, with a particular focus on supporting skilled labor in national projects, and developing training and vocational qualification programs to enhance workforce efficiency and create suitable employment opportunities.
Discussions also covered the new Labor Law and the ministry’s plans to ensure its follow-up and implementation in a way that guarantees a fully integrated and balanced work environment for both employers and workers, while contributing to investment-support strategies.
Both sides stressed during the meeting the importance of maintaining coordination between the two ministries in the coming period to achieve the state’s vision for sustainable development.
They also highlighted the need to continue advancing national projects with the highest standards of quality and occupational safety to improve performance efficiency and better serve the interests of the country and its citizens.
