Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, issued urgent directives on Monday emphasizing the need for effective communication with citizens. The directives include sending text messages to their mobile phones, making phone calls, and sending official letters acknowledging receipt to the addresses registered in reconciliation applications. This initiative encourages citizens to visit the city’s technology center and complete their reconciliation procedures to prevent their files from being excluded from the system. These directives were given during her visit to Khanka in Qalyubia Governorate on Monday.
Dr. Manal Awad highlighted the importance of technology centers in facilitating local services for citizens, helping save time and effort. She pointed out that the state is paying great attention to developing and upgrading these centers to keep up with the latest technologies and meet citizens’ needs. Additionally, she explained that the ministry, in cooperation with the Ministries of Planning and Communications and other relevant entities, provides necessary training courses for staff at technology centers to ensure the delivery of advanced and high-quality services.
For his part, the Governor of Qalyubia praised the employees’ efforts at the technology center and their dedication to providing the best services to citizens. He reaffirmed the governorate’s full support for the center and its commitment to providing all necessary resources to let it perform its tasks efficiently.
The governor further added that the governorate strives to simplify procedures and offer distinguished and fast services to citizens through the network of technology centers spread across all districts and cities.
