The Implementation Status of the Great Transfiguration Development Project in Saint Catherine

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with officials from several contracting companies involved in the Great Transfiguration Development Project in Saint Catherine. Senior officials from the ministry, the Central Agency for Reconstruction, and the project consultant also attended the meeting.

Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny emphasized that the state values the Great Transfiguration Development Project, which President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is closely monitoring.

The minister pointed out that the project aims to develop this unique site so that it is fully prepared and accessible for visitors worldwide. The development work also includes protecting and enhancing the area while ensuring balanced growth and preserving its natural environment and distinctive heritage.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the implementation status of several project components currently under development. He also followed up on the detailed timelines for various project elements, stressing the importance of adhering to the set deadlines and ensuring full coordination among all relevant parties to expedite the project’s completion.
