On Monday, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with officials from the Saudi-Egyptian Development Company to assess the company’s marketing progress for several projects of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).
The meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Vice President of NUCA for Planning and Projects, Dr. Abdelkhalek Ibrahim, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, Eng. Amin Ghonaim, Vice President of NUCA for City Development, Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagi, Vice President of NUCA for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, along with other officials from the ministry and the minister’s technical office.
During the meeting, the minister received a detailed briefing on the company’s current marketing plans for various residential, commercial, administrative, and recreational projects that are being implemented by the Ministry of Housing through NUCA. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified timelines for marketing plans and continuously monitoring and evaluating progress to achieve the desired goals. This includes optimizing the use of the authority’s unit inventory and maximizing financial returns.
Minister El-Sherbiny stressed that the ministry aims to maximize the benefits from investments made in residential and developmental projects in new cities, increase occupancy rates, and enhance revenues. These efforts will allow the ministry to continue implementing diverse housing and developmental projects that meet the needs of various segments of Egyptian society and support ongoing urban development initiatives. Part of these projects is funded through the proceeds of the targeted marketing efforts.
