The minister was briefed on ongoing infrastructure projects in Ras El-Hekma, including roadworks, utilities, and urban development. The discussion also covered progress in the alternative lands project at “Shams El-Hekma,” which will provide residential, commercial, and service areas for residents relocated from Ras El-Hekma.
He also reviewed future development proposals for West Ras El-Hekma, directing officials to coordinate with developers in the region to accelerate investment in tourism and hospitality projects, ensuring optimal land use.
Development of the Area West of Dabaa
The minister assessed land development under the jurisdiction of the New Urban Communities Authority in the west of Dabaa region, which will include:

- Regional investment zones along the North Coast highway
He also reviewed land allocation progress, infrastructure planning, and the status of utilities, including water, sewage, and roads.
