Minister of Housing Receives Representatives of Anba Bola Monastery in the Red Sea

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, received Anba Daniel, Papal Deputy for Monastic Affairs and Bishop and Head of Anba Bola Monastery in the Red Sea, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on projects related to the monastery’s drinking water and wastewater utilities.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny welcomed the representatives of Anba Bola Monastery and emphasized the importance of addressing their needs within the ministry’s operational plans and existing utility sector regulations. He also highlighted the Ministry of Housing’s commitment to providing the necessary support for places of worship.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the details of the drinking water and wastewater utility projects related to the monastery. It was confirmed that the required designs have been completed and implementation is in the preparatory phase. In this context, the Minister of Housing instructed the establishment of a clear timeline for the execution of the works, with ongoing supervision to ensure timely completion and to overcome any obstacles that may arise.

For their part, the officials from Anba Bola Monastery expressed their gratitude to Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny for his support and cooperation.
