Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, affirmed the ministry’s readiness to collaborate and begin registering various residential units offered within new city projects on the Egyptian Real Estate Platform.
This announcement came during a meeting between the minister and Ahmed El-Batrawy, the official responsible for the platform, where they discussed ways to support and enhance its role. El-Sherbiny emphasized that the Ministry of Housing will provide all necessary support to the platform, enabling it to fulfill its primary function of promoting and exporting Egyptian real estate locally and internationally. This initiative aims to strengthen Egypt’s position as a preferred destination for housing and real estate investment.
“In line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives, we seek to find innovative and effective solutions to attract and encourage foreign investment in Egypt,” El-Sherbiny stated. “Our focus is on real estate export and its marketing within the country to drive further growth in the sector.”
Ahmed El-Batrawy expressed his enthusiasm for the meeting: “Own your home in Egypt through the Egyptian Real Estate Platform, which offers the best real estate choices at competitive prices, making it easier and safer to find your dream home.” He highlighted that the platform is a comprehensive information hub for Egyptian real estate, incorporating a database and an integrated system to establish a centralized property market. Additionally, the platform features a dedicated mobile application to streamline client services.
The minister also underscored the importance of completing the digital transformation of the real estate sector. He pointed out that the government has prioritized urban and real estate development due to its vital role in encouraging investments and attracting local and foreign capital. He added that the real estate sector remains one of the fundamental pillars of Egypt’s economic growth.
