Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the activation of the electricity supply at the last power distributor in the tower project within the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital. With this, all seven power distributors in the project are now operational. This step is part of ongoing efforts to accelerate the completion of electrical work in the area.
The Minister of Housing emphasized continuous monitoring of the completed and ongoing work in the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital. This aligns with the directives of the political leadership, which underscores the importance of national projects and the need to expedite their implementation.
Engineer Mohamed Adel, Head of the New Administrative Capital Development Authority, explained that the final power distributor consists of 15 cells and operates on a DC power supply system to ensure energy continuity. The distributor supplies electricity to serviced apartments, hotel buildings, and towers, with a total capacity of 154 MVA. Additionally, it powers the emergency distributor for the Iconic Tower. He also noted that the Central Business District project spans 170 acres and includes multiple administrative and residential towers, the Iconic Tower, and two crescent-shaped towers.
