Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with real estate developers and company executives responsible for projects in New Sphinx City. Officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority attended the meeting.
El-Sherbiny opened the meeting by emphasizing that New Sphinx City has great potential and is located near the urban mass in western Cairo. He expressed his commitment to supporting all real estate developers and investors, stressing the importance of maintaining ongoing communication with them to listen to their opinions and suggestions and to work on overcoming any obstacles that may hinder their projects. This effort aims to enhance progress in all new cities.
The Minister of Housing announced that New Sphinx City spans approximately 73,000 acres and comprises five sectors. It is designed as an innovative and sustainable city, offering a high standard of living along with leading services and world-class investment and tourism activities. The strategic plan includes projects across various developmental and service sectors, benefiting from the city’s prime location near the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids area, and Sphinx International Airport.
During the meeting, investors praised the facilities the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority provided. They also presented ideas and proposals to support their projects and address their challenges.
