During his visit today to New Alamein City, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour of the water desalination plant project and the “Mazarine” compound within the city. He was accompanied by several ministry officials, representatives from the Arab Contractors Company responsible for implementing the plant, and the head of the New Alamein City Authority.
As part of the tour, the Minister listened to a detailed presentation delivered by Engineer Ahmed Al-Assar, Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, regarding the latest updates on the construction works of the desalination plant project and the timeline for its completion.
Later, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini moved on to inspect the “Mazarine” compound, where he reviewed the areas that have been fully operational and followed up on the progress of works in the buildings and the stages of unit delivery.

During the tour, Engineer Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the New Alamein City Development Authority, explained that the project spans an area of 707 acres and includes around 7,956 residential units, ranging from villas and chalets to apartment buildings.
He emphasized that the project is considered one of the most prominent residential developments in the city, serving as a key attraction for both investment and residents. The compound is located on the southern shore of Alamein’s lakes, offering direct views of the beachfront towers, and includes various models of villas, chalets, and apartment buildings, in addition to a retail area.
