Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, closely followed up on the progress of utility and road infrastructure projects in 10th of Ramadan City, including the “Diarna” residential project. The Minister reviewed reports on the development of industrial zones and the water treatment plant, emphasizing the importance of continuous on-site supervision. He also instructed coordination between supervisory teams and executing companies to overcome obstacles and ensure adherence to timelines and technical standards.
Engineer Alaa Abdallah Mostafa conducted a field tour to inspect utility and road projects in the heavy industrial zone. His visit covered strategic areas such as the 710-acre zone and the 2-million-square-meter area. He examined the ongoing works and reviewed implementation rates. He also visited the Developers’ Water Plant in Zezinia, which produces 200,000 cubic meters of water daily and serves both 10th of Ramadan City and Badr City, thus enhancing the efficiency of the water supply system. Additionally, he followed up on the implementation status of the “Diarna” middle-income housing project, which includes 20 residential buildings comprising a total of 520 units, with the completion rate exceeding 10%.
Engineer Alaa Abdallah Mostafa also conducted an inspection of the Citizens’ Service Technology Center to monitor the quality of services provided. He stressed the importance of courteous treatment of citizens and streamlining procedures to expedite transaction completion. Furthermore, he directed the provision of well-organized waiting areas and the installation of guidance boards listing the required documents. He emphasized the necessity of having a representative from the financial administration present to support faster processing and activating the Land Committee to ensure transparency.
