On Saturday, March 8, 2025, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, visited New Alamein City to review the progress of the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, the C3 Bridge, and the parking garage in the Heritage City. He was accompanied by several officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the city’s administration.
During his tour, the minister inspected the site of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” which consists of 83 buildings with 1,992 residential units. He monitored the ongoing infrastructure, construction, and finishing works, emphasizing the need to accelerate the completion of the building facades and site coordination.
Additionally, the minister visited the construction site of the C3 Road intersection bridge, which crosses the high-speed rail and the Qabbari railway line in New Alamein City. Project officials gave him a detailed briefing on all aspects of the work. They recommended that he conduct a traffic study to expand the road capacity in anticipation of increased traffic volume.
At the end of his tour, the Minister of Housing inspected the construction of a parking garage in Heritage City that can accommodate approximately 2,000 vehicles. He stressed the importance of expediting the work to ensure the project’s completion within the designated timeframe.
