Today, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, began his tour by inspecting the ongoing efficiency enhancement works for the “service” dual carriageway from Marina 1 to Marina 3. He also reviewed the construction of the fence around the Champs-Élysées area and the development of the gates and entrances at the Marina Alamein Tourist Center. Accompanying him on the tour were several officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the Tourist Villages Authority.
During the tour, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny followed up on the ongoing works and listened to a detailed explanation regarding the service road’s efficiency improvements. Dr. Engineer Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the Tourist Villages Authority, explained that the expansion and dualization of the service road from Marina 1 to Marina 3 represent a turning point for mobility within the area. He noted that it also contributes to revitalizing the Champs-Élysées area by establishing a separating fence and transforming it into a commercial and service hub that caters to property owners and visitors of the coastal region.
The Minister of Housing and his accompanying delegation also toured the ongoing development works for entrances and gates (1, 4, and 5) after the completion of development for Entrance No. (2) at Marina Alamein Center, which is considered the first phase of the plan to upgrade the entrances and gates of the Marina Alamein Tourist Center.
