The minister received a detailed briefing on:
- 86 residential buildings under construction, comprising 2,064 units, each measuring 90 m².
- Road networks spanning 30 km, with ongoing work on water, irrigation, and sanitation systems, including:
- 20 km of water and fire networks with 18 valve chambers.
- 8 km of irrigation pipelines.
- 9.8 km of sewage networks.
Ministerial Directives
Minister El-Sherbiny emphasized the urgency of completing infrastructure and roads in the urgent phase and investment areas to high-quality standards. He instructed the immediate commencement of planned projects and resolution of any obstacles.
During his inspection, the minister expressed dissatisfaction with the delayed roadworks at the city entrance and the lack of visible activity or equipment on-site. Highlighting the strategic importance of New Suez City, he urged focused efforts on delivering all planned projects efficiently.

Wastewater Treatment Advancements
The minister also reviewed progress on the Compact Wastewater Treatment Plant, designed to handle 1,000 m³/day. The project, nearing completion, utilizes advanced tertiary treatment technology to repurpose treated wastewater for irrigating greenery, enhancing the city’s sustainability.
New Suez City, as a priority urban development, reflects the government’s vision to create integrated, well-equipped cities that cater to both residential and investment needs.
