Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour of the “Mazarine Compound” project in New Alamein City, accompanied by several officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority.

During the visit, the minister received a detailed briefing on the progress of various project components. Engineer Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the New Alamein City Authority, explained that the Mazarine Compound spans approximately 700 acres along the southern shore of Alamein Lakes and boasts a prime view of the coastal towers.
The project includes 7,498 diverse residential units, including villas, chalets, and apartment buildings, as well as commercial spaces that provide a range of services to the residents.
The minister closely monitored the construction work, emphasizing the need to accelerate project completion in accordance with the designated timelines. He also stressed the importance of finalizing the finishing touches for the facades of buildings and villas and increasing the pace of road, infrastructure, and green space development to ensure the creation of a fully integrated urban environment.
Inspection of Coastal Towers and Cooling Systems
The minister visited Tower LD07, one of the coastal towers in New Alamein City, where he inspected the air conditioning system’s cooling room. The visit aimed to oversee the project’s progress and address potential implementation challenges.
Minister’s Directives
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny instructed that all requirements for completing the work should be identified. He also called for daily monitoring and follow-ups to ensure projects are executed according to the set schedules, contributing to sustainable development in the city.
