A statement from the Ministry of Housing announced that Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Minister of Housing, followed up on road and infrastructure development projects in New Borg El Arab City, including the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” He pointed out the commencement of projects to separate the sanitary and industrial sewage systems and the development of the basic infrastructure. Additionally, 209 new residential buildings are being constructed, and road maintenance and development work has been done in the city. The minister mentioned the importance of adhering to project timelines and ensuring quality. Engineer El-Sayed Hammam, Head of the City Development Authority, inspected the development project for the Scientific Research Road and the main industrial road.
The Head of the Authority continued monitoring the work on the asphalt binding layer and road foundation, stressing the need for rapid completion to begin planning and installing guide signs. He aimed to finish the project within the specified schedule. He also highlighted the importance of coordinating with specialized companies to offer advertising concessions after completing the main entrances to the city.
In a related context, Engineer El-Sayed Hammam followed up on implementing 209 buildings under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the Ninth District, emphasizing adherence to specifications, quality standards, and the project schedule while warning that non-compliant companies would not be tolerated.
Additionally, the Head of the Authority monitored the operation and maintenance of the tertiary treatment plant, overseeing its different operational phases and the work on Lift Station K 34 within the secondary treatment plant’s industrial sewage system.
