Minister of Housing Holds Regular Meeting with Parliament Members to Address Constituency Issues

On Tuesday evening, Engineer Sherif Shorbagy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held his regular meeting with several members of the Egyptian Parliament, including representatives from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The meeting aimed to discuss the needs and concerns of their electoral districts, particularly regarding housing projects, drinking water, sanitation, and other areas under the ministry’s purview. The session was attended by ministry officials and representatives from affiliated executive bodies.

Minister Shorbagy announced that a dedicated space on the ground floor of the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital has been set up to the highest standards to receive requests from parliament members or their representatives. Additionally, a hall has been prepared to showcase the ministry’s projects and achievements. A specialized team from the political communication department, under the supervision of Engineer Ahmed Ali, has been assigned to handle these requests.

At the beginning of the meeting, a representative from the Hahya and Abu Kabir districts expressed his gratitude to Minister Shorbagy for resolving a longstanding issue that he had raised during the previous meeting two weeks ago. The minister had sent a ministry representative to personally address the matter, and it was resolved on the same day.

During the session, each parliament member presented the specific issues affecting their constituencies. Minister Shorbagy directed the relevant ministry officials to prioritize and address these concerns, ensuring ongoing follow-up to monitor the progress of the solutions.

In closing, the attending members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate extended their thanks and appreciation to Minister Sherif Shorbagy and the ministry officials for their cooperation and commitment to serving the citizens’ best interests.
