Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held his regular meeting yesterday evening with a number of parliament members from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The meeting aimed to discuss the demands of their electoral districts and was attended by officials from the Ministry and its affiliated executive agencies.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny opened the meeting by welcoming the parliamentarians and emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the various departments of the Ministry. He also highlighted the need for continuous communication and integration between the executive and legislative authorities to serve the interests of the nation and its citizens. He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining open channels of communication with parliament members in order to listen to their district-related concerns and work towards effective solutions.
The parliament members presented various requests related to housing projects, drinking water, and sanitation services, in addition to other areas under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Housing across several governorates and new cities.
Members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny for his swift directive to the Ministry’s work teams and affiliated agencies to carry out direct and field follow-ups. They noted that this approach helps accelerate the progress of projects and strengthens coordination and cooperation efforts to meet the needs of citizens.
