Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held his regular meeting with a number of members from the House of Representatives and the Senate to discuss the demands and needs of their electoral constituencies. The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry and affiliated executive bodies.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Sherif El-Sherbini welcomed the parliamentarians and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the various departments of the Ministry and the members of Parliament. He also highlighted the necessity of maintaining communication and coordination between the executive and legislative branches to serve the interests of the nation and its citizens, noting that parliamentarians represent all segments of society.
The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining ongoing communication with members of Parliament to listen to the concerns of their constituencies and work toward fulfilling their requests.
The MPs’ demands focused on issues related to housing projects, drinking water, and sanitation services, in addition to other areas under the Ministry’s jurisdiction across various governorates and newly developed cities.
Members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini for his prompt response in directing the Ministry’s teams and affiliated bodies to closely follow up on projects through field visits, accelerate implementation, and enhance coordination and collaboration to meet the needs of citizens.
