Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, regularly met with several members of parliament from the House of Representatives and the Senate to discuss the demands of their electoral districts. The meeting was attended by officials from the ministry and its executive bodies.
El-Sherbiny began the meeting by welcoming the parliament members and extending his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of continuous communication with parliamentarians to listen to their concerns and work towards meeting them. He also highlighted that the cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities aims to serve the nation’s and its citizens’ best interests.
The requests raised by the parliament members included issues related to housing projects, drinking water, sanitation, and other areas under the Ministry of Housing across several governorates.
The House of Representatives and the Senate members expressed gratitude and appreciation to Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny for his swift directives to the ministry’s teams and affiliated entities to conduct direct field follow-ups. They noted that such efforts accelerate project implementation and enhance coordination to meet citizens’ needs.
