Minister of Housing Highlights Development Projects and African Cooperation at Builders of Egypt Forum

Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, attended the first session of the 9th Builders of Egypt Forum, titled “Egypt and Neighboring Countries: Cooperation for Development.” The session was attended by Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Engineer Mohamed El Shimi, Minister of Public Works, and Hassan Abdel Aziz, President of the African Union of Construction Contractors. The session was moderated by media figure Dina Abdel Fattah, Secretary-General of the Egypt Builders Forum.

El Sherbiny emphasized that the scale and variety of urban development projects initiated since President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi took office have significantly enhanced the skills and capabilities of Egyptian construction companies. These companies now have the expertise, equipment, and workforce needed to effectively participate in additional developmental projects, both within Egypt and across Africa and the Arab world.
