Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, confirmed the significant demand for the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative since its launch. The reservation process opened last Thursday, and within 48 hours, approximately $2.5 million was collected through various payment methods. During a press conference attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister highlighted that the high rate of down payments reflects the confidence of Egyptians abroad in the state’s efforts to provide quality housing and investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
In his speech, El-Sherbiny emphasized that the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative aims to enhance the engagement of Egyptians living abroad with the investment and development opportunities the country has witnessed over the past decade while meeting their diverse needs. He stated that the initiative presents a valuable opportunity for ownership and investment in a homeland full of opportunities. A cooperation protocol between the New Urban Communities Authority, Banque Misr, and eFinance has been signed to provide secure and easy electronic payment solutions. He also pointed out that the initiative’s website offers a unique user experience, allowing potential buyers to view residential units remotely through virtual tours.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny announced the launch of the first phase of the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, enabling Egyptians residing abroad to reserve and purchase residential units in 12 housing projects. The available projects include “Arabisk” in Cairo, “Capital Residence,” and “Mamsha D2” in the New Administrative Capital, as well as New Garden City and Madinaty in New Cairo. Other projects featured in the initiative include Valley Towers East in New Obour, Saba in the 6th of October City, Valley Towers in Hadayek October, Bliss Gates in Sheikh Zayed, and the beachfront towers in New Alamein. The initiative offers exclusive benefits and multiple facilities for participants.
