Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, followed up on the utility projects of industrial areas and electricity networks in several new cities, in the presence of officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the heads of city authorities.
The minister confirmed that the purpose of the meeting was to monitor the execution of projects aimed at supporting the industrial sector as a pillar of comprehensive economic development, and to provide serviced lands to localize domestic industries and enhance industrial investments.

The meeting discussed the progress of utility projects in the industrial zones of the cities of 10th of Ramadan, New Alamein, Sadat, Borg El Arab, and New October—particularly projects related to water, sanitation, roads, and electricity.
The minister stressed the need to adhere to project completion deadlines according to the timeline, emphasizing the importance of continuous follow-up on utility implementation.
