Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with Engineer Ahmed Abdelazim, Chairman of Dar Al-Handasah, to review the progress of the Central Business District (CBD) project in the New Administrative Capital and the Downtown Towers project in New Alamein. The discussion also covered projects on the Northwestern Coast. The minister emphasized the importance of adhering to the set deadlines for these national projects, stressing the need for continuous support and regular progress monitoring.
During the meeting with the Minister of Housing, updates on the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital were reviewed, including the progress of operations, maintenance, and marketing efforts. The district comprises 10 mixed-use towers with heights ranging from 80 to 175 meters, in addition to five residential towers containing 1,700 housing units with heights ranging from 152 to 200 meters. The area also includes crescent-shaped towers with a height of 64 meters and the iconic tower, which reaches approximately 400 meters. Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny reaffirmed the project’s significance as a landmark of Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in urban development.
The Minister of Housing also discussed the Downtown Towers project in New Alamein, which is being developed by the Chinese company CSCEC. The project includes the construction of five residential towers, including an iconic tower standing 250 meters tall and four other towers, each reaching 200 meters. Regular monitoring and detailed progress reports were emphasized to ensure adherence to project completion deadlines.
