Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reviewed the ongoing infrastructure development efforts in the industrial zones of the 10th of Ramadan City. These initiatives align with national strategies aimed at facilitating investment in Egypt.
The minister emphasized that upgrading these areas directly accelerates industrial project implementation and enhances the competitiveness of Egypt’s industrial sector.
Current Projects: Upgrading Drainage Networks and Utilities
As part of the development plan, ongoing projects include modernizing water and wastewater networks and improving roads and sidewalks in various industrial zones. These projects feature the construction of an industrial wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 130,000 m³/day, alongside upgrades to the industrial sewage lifting lines and establishing two anaerobic basins to enhance water treatment efficiency.
Additionally, reinforcement work has been carried out on the embankments of Oxidation Pond No. 3 to ensure the continued effectiveness of the ecological treatment system.
Follow-Up by the Head of 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority: On-Site Inspection of Progress
Eng. Alaa Abdallah Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, accompanied by a team of officials, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour to assess project progress. The tour included site visits to key infrastructure facilities such as the industrial wastewater treatment plant and evaluations of work progress in sewage lines and pipe installation operations.
Road Network Development: Enhancing Traffic Flow and Aesthetic Appeal
Improving the road network is a key aspect of development in the 10th of Ramadan City. Sidewalk enhancement work has been completed along Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Axis, with interlock pavement installed in the service lane of District 25, contributing to the roads’ visual appeal and residents’ comfort and safety. Additionally, asphalt maintenance has been carried out along Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz Axis, with asphalt layers being renewed to ensure road sustainability.
These ongoing efforts aim to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for utility challenges and road network improvements. They reflect the government’s commitment to enhancing investment zones by modern economic and technological requirements.
