Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, the Minister of Housing, arrived in Beni Suef Governorate to follow up on drinking water and sewage projects under the “Decent Life” presidential initiative. He was received by Dr. Mohamed Hany Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, and accompanied by officials from the ministry and relevant companies.
The minister held a meeting with the governor to review the status of water and wastewater projects across the governorate. He emphasized the importance of monitoring implementation and removing any obstacles to ensure these projects are completed quickly in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The Minister of Housing confirmed that the “Decent Life” initiative receives regular oversight from the political leadership, aiming to improve the quality of life in the targeted rural villages. Governor Dr. Mohamed Hany Ghoneim highlighted the importance of the minister’s visit, noting that it reflects the government’s support for the infrastructure sector.
The inspection tour aims to assess the progress of drinking water and sewage projects, reinforcing the state’s efforts to meet citizens’ needs. The governor also praised the collaboration with the Ministry of Housing in accelerating the implementation of vital service projects.
At the end of the meeting, the governor presented a commemorative shield to the minister in recognition of his efforts.
