The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, announced the readiness of 138 land plots for electricity connection as part of the fifth phase in the Al-Nargis Extension area in New Cairo City. The minister emphasized monitoring the progress of handing over units and lands to Egyptians abroad, highlighting the ministry’s continuous efforts to provide real estate options that meet their needs and strengthen their connection with their homeland.
For his part, Engineer Abdel-Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Authority, clarified that connecting electricity to these lands is part of an integrated plan that includes completing all utility works and providing essential services in new residential areas. He pointed out that the Al-Nargis Extension area (Beit El Watan) is witnessing ongoing efforts to ensure full electricity coverage for all plots. He also called on landowners included in the current phase to promptly apply for verification and complete electricity connection procedures in line with the timeline published on the city’s official Facebook page.
