Minister of Housing Discusses Road Advertisement Development in New Cities with the National Company

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with National Company for Road Construction, Development, and Management officials to explore cooperation opportunities to maximize the benefits of advertisements on roads and highways in new cities. Senior officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority also attended the discussion.

Regulating the Advertising Sector and Enhancing Urban Aesthetics

The minister emphasized the ministry’s commitment to developing the advertising sector in new cities to improve urban aesthetics, enhance quality of life, and achieve environmental and economic sustainability for urban projects. He also stressed the importance of adhering to aesthetic and environmental standards in advertisement design.

Surveying Violations and Addressing Irregular Advertisements

El-Sherbiny pointed out that a comprehensive survey has been conducted on all advertisements displayed on roads in new cities. The monitoring process has been completed, and measures are currently being taken to address non-compliant advertisements.

Enhancing Cooperation and Implementing Modern Advertising Strategies

During the meeting, the National Company presented its efforts in regulating road advertisements and shared a report on its activities in this field. Additionally, modern advertising planning methods were discussed in the strategy to improve the sector.
