Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, confirmed that the ministry is working to provide a wide range of services to citizens as part of its responsibility and public service role, with the aim of improving the standard of living. During their inspection of the Mit Gaber sewage project, the Minister of Housing and the Governor of Sharqia listened to a detailed briefing from Major General Amin Shawky. It was explained that the project, costing 150 million EGP, includes a gravity sewer network stretching 7.445 kilometers, a lifting station, a one-kilometer pressure line, and a treatment plant with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters per day to serve the villages of Mit Gaber, El-Saraya, El-Zahria, in addition to Beni Saleh village. The project will benefit approximately 25,000 residents. The gravity network, lifting station, and pressure line have been completed, and preliminary acceptance procedures are underway.
