Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the completion of all works for the electrical supply connection project linking the Fourth District to the Badr 3 Power Transmission Station in Badr City. The station is located at the city’s entrance on the Cairo–Ismailia Desert Road. This project aims to reduce the load on the Badr 1 Power Transmission Station.
The Minister noted that this achievement is part of the Ministry’s plan to provide an attractive infrastructure for investment, meet the needs of new urban and developmental expansions, and improve the quality of services offered to citizens.
Engineer El-Sayed Ibrahim Amin, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, explained that the connection of the Fourth District to the Badr 3 Power Transmission Station came after conducting tests on the new “medium-voltage” cable lines and routes for the district.
He confirmed that the new connection will help stabilize electrical loads in the Fourth District, significantly reducing power fluctuations and frequent outages that previously occurred due to urban expansion. He added that the project’s electrical lines have been linked to two feeder outputs. The Head of the Badr City Development Authority confirmed that all electrical connection works were successfully completed.
